分享一部很老但我觉得特别棒的电影，十二怒汉(Twelve Angry Men)。
昨天做饭听着ESL Podcast，讲的是一部电影：十二怒汉(Twelve Angry Men)，之前听都没听说过。吃饭时搜出来，一看是黑白的，也没抱太大希望，不过随着播放，越来越喜欢这部电影。
(TP的朋友P曾经告诉我，她高中的时候，很喜欢一本电影杂志，从中汲取了很多知识。到了昨天，我才感同身爱她的那份喜悦。谢谢你曾经跟我分享那么多东西，潜移默化地影响着我)
《十二怒汉》的情节大概是这样的，摘抄维基百科：十二怒汉 (电影) 部分内容如下：
故事发生在1950年代的纽约，法院正审理一宗一级预谋谋杀案，案中一名住在贫民区的少年被控于深夜在家以弹簧刀杀死父亲，楼下跛脚老伯表示亲耳听到少年大叫“我要杀了你！”并看到被告慌忙逃出；男孩家对街楼上的的女士表示她亲眼目睹少年一刀插入父亲心口，杂货店老板更承认卖过行凶的弹弓刀给这位少年。男孩自己则声称自己和父亲争吵，怒而离家，去电影院看电影至深夜才回家，回到家后发现父亲已经遇害。但该少年又无法说出当晚所看电影的名称及主要演员，几乎所有的证据都对他不利，而且该少年有前科，15岁曾进感化院，大家对他有很大偏见。
12名陪审员开始退庭商议，在闷热的的会议室里，大伙只想赶快终结此一案件，随即进行投票，其中11人均认为被告有罪，，只有 1人不同意，他指出了另一种可能性。由于陪审团的结论需要获得全体陪审员一致同意，他们只好进行讨论。随着激烈的争论，一些合理疑点也逐渐被发现，最后陪审团作出的结论为被告无罪。
法官的一段话，看似套话，但却让我震撼，尤其是reasonable doubt。原话如下：
Murder in the first degree, premeditated murder, is the most serious charge tried in our criminal courts. You’ve listened to the testimony, you’ve had the law read to you and interpreted as it applies in this case, it’s now your duty to sit down and try to separate the facts from the fancy. One man is dead, another man’s life is at stake, if there’s a reasonable doubt in your minds as to the guilt of the accused, uh a reasonable doubt, then you must bring me a verdict of “Not Guilty”. If, however, there’s no reasonable doubt, then you must, in good conscience, find the accused “Guilty”. However you decide, your verdict must be unanimous. In the event that you find the accused “Guilty”, the bench will not entertain a recommendation for mercy. The death sentence is mandatory in this case. You’re faced with a grave responsibility, thank you, gentlemen.
8号陪审员的一段话，道出了对生命的尊重：
We’re talking about somebody’s life here. We can’t decide it in five minutes. Supposing we’re wrong?
9号陪审员，一位老者，第一次投票他就犹豫，经过8号这么一说，他的决定是：hear more：
The boy is probably guilty, but – eh, I want to hear more.
4号陪审员，最后改投no guilty的原因是：
I have a reasonable doubt now.

总之，挺好看点的，陪审团的辩论，每个陪审员的身份、性格特点，陪审员怎么改变投票的。找到了一张很有趣的图（图片来源于这里）：
《十二怒汉》电影有两个版本：1957年黑白、1997年重拍的彩色版。我是先看了1957年版的，以为1997年会拍得更好，看了之后，还是觉得1957年拍得好。比如在出法庭后，陪审员8号和9号相互交换了姓名在1997就没有，但我觉得这是一个很重要的细节。所以强烈推荐1957年版的《十二怒汉》。
